Steampunk Computer Cuff by Isinglass-Industries Steampunk Computer Cuff by Isinglass-Industries
An update to the Computer Cuff and Communicator Bracelet I made.

I stripped the brass parts away from the faux leather and fitted them to a real leather cuff/bracelet. The leather in embossed with a swirly, leaf-like art nouveau design that catches the light and laces up on the underside.
The difference this makes is astounding, they look a hundred times better and now are very comfortable to wear.
Got a lot of compliments at the last steampunk event I went to and everyone wanted to try pressing the buttons.

Thanks for saying so. And for the favorite.
Its my most favorite think I've made!

If only the keys were easier to get hold of I'd love to make more to sell :)

this is really really creative! Are those buttons from an old vending machine?

They actually came from a broken typewriter. I had some pangs of guilt about gutting it but there was no way it would ever work again so I figured it was better than putting it in an attic where no one would ever see it.

nice! The way I look at it is you didn't destroy it, you made it into something more than what it was

Great job. Is it functional or does it just look super awesome.

Thanks,
Its non functioning sadly! I would dearly love to build a working one someday. Even if it just lighted up or made a sound I'd be happy.

Thank you very much!
This computer cuff is kind of a continuous project. I keep updating or changing it when a new idea or material presents itself. I don't think there's any of the parts left now from the first build!
